Earlier in life, Austin was a familiar face at Rupp Arena in Lexington, where he attended many home games, cheering enthusiastically for the Kentucky Wildcats. He also enjoyed times of solitude, bass fishing and nature. Austin Sholar's family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the medical staff at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Facility in Edgewood, Kentucky, for the exceptional care and compassion they provided during his final days. Their dedication brought comfort to Austin and his family during a difficult time. In keeping with Austin's wishes, a private ceremony will be held on October 9th, 2026 at his personal residence to honor his memory.
