In Loving Memory of Audrey Weiss
It is with profound sorrow and heartfelt compassion that we announce the passing of our beloved Audrey Weiss, who left this world far too soon on June 29, 2026, her 28th birthday. Born on June 29, 1998, in the charming town of Stamford, Connecticut, Audrey was a beacon of light and joy, whose life, though brief, touched many in the most profound ways.
Audrey's journey began in Stamford, where she was raised by her devoted father, Steven Weiss, who cherished her deeply. She graduated from the Academy of Information, Technology & Engineering in 2016, where she was not only a dedicated student but a treasured friend to many.
Audrey found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Her love of skateboarding and gymnastics brought her an exuberant sense of freedom and excitement. She was a talented painter, her works reflecting a depth of emotion and creativity that spoke volumes of her inner world. Music, too, was a passion for Audrey, offering her solace and expression beyond words.
Her professional life included a tenure at IHOP, where she worked with dedication and warmth for two years. Audrey's kindness and selflessness were evident in her interactions with colleagues and customers alike, leaving a lasting impression.
Audrey was known for her kind heart and selfless nature, always giving more than she received. She was the life of every gathering, bringing joy and laughter wherever she went. Her ability to reach out to others, whether for life’s big moments or small everyday joys and challenges, demonstrated her deep commitment to those she loved. Family was at the core of Audrey's life, and she cherished her bonds with an unwavering devotion.
Tragically, Audrey's life was marked by a battle with mental illness, a struggle that she faced with courage and resilience. Despite the challenges she endured, she maintained her radiant spirit and continued to give of herself to others. Her passing, with narcotics in her system, is a poignant reminder of the silent battles many face and the importance of compassion and understanding.
A private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Audrey’s life, as per the wishes of her family. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to mental health organizations, in hopes of supporting others who face similar challenges.
Audrey Weiss leaves behind a legacy of love, creativity, and selflessness. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched. May she find the peace she so richly deserves, and may her memory continue to inspire us to live with kindness and compassion.
