Born on August 20, 1958, in Kenner, Louisiana, Audrey was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She enriched the lives of all who knew her with her warmth, wisdom, and unwavering spirit. Audrey was the beloved daughter of John and Mary Schroeder, who predeceased her. Their love and guidance shaped the compassionate and dedicated woman she became. Audrey carried their legacy in her heart throughout her life, sharing their values of kindness and empathy with everyone she encountered. Throughout her career as a teacher, Audrey touched the lives of countless students, instilling in them a love for learning and a belief in their potential. Her passion for education was unwavering, and she dedicated herself to her profession until her retirement in 2006. She is survived by her devoted husband, Edwin, her children Janel, Erin, and Matthew, who were the pride and joy of her life. Her legacy also lives on through her cherished grandchildren—Bailey, Mackenzie, Ava, and Calleigh—and her great-grandchild, Brantley, each of whom held a special place in her heart. Audrey's life was a testament to the power of love and community. Her home was always open, a place where laughter and stories were shared.
