Born on May 19, 1961, in Buffalo, New York, Audrey was a cherished daughter of the late Lenore McNeer. She was also predeceased by her beloved brothers, Mitch West, Douglas West, and Jason McNeer. Audrey's journey began in Buffalo, but her heart found its home when she met and married her soulmate, Robert Thorenton. Their union, spanning over 45 years, was a testament to enduring love and partnership, a true inspiration to all who knew them. Together, they built a life full of joy, compassion, and unwavering support. A proud graduate of Fairhope High School in 1969, Audrey was celebrated not only for her academic achievements but for the genuine warmth and kindness she shared with everyone she encountered. Her gentle spirit and caring nature left a lasting impression, and her legacy of love is one that will endure in the hearts of many. Audrey's greatest joy in life was her family. She was a dedicated and loving mother to Ryan (Caitlin) Thorenton and Taylor Thorenton, whose lives were immeasurably enriched by her guidance and unconditional love. Her grandchildren, Micah Thorenton and Jameson Thorenton, were the lights of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them, creating memories that will be treasured forever. In addition to her immediate family, Audrey is survived by her brother, Mike West, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Her family and friends will forever remember her as one of the kindest, most loving, and caring individuals they had the privilege of knowing. Audrey's radiant spirit and her commitment to kindness touched all who crossed her path. As we celebrate her life, we are reminded of her legacy of love and compassion.
