Ashton Martin, born on November 13, 2001, in Gallatin, Tennessee, passed away peacefully in his sleep at the Kokomo Rescue Mission. Ashton was a bright light and a beacon of kindness in the lives of all who knew him.
Throughout his life, Ashton was deeply devoted to his family and faith, attending the Hendersonville Pentecostal Church for nearly 15 years. His unwavering faith was a source of strength and guidance for him, and he shared that strength generously with others.
Ashton was survived by his beloved parents, Ashley Johnston and Ryan Martin, and his dear sibling, McKayla Martin.
Ashton had a passion for technology, often found tinkering with electronics and eagerly learning the intricacies of computers and phones. His curiosity and aptitude for understanding how things worked were matched only by his love for metal music and video games, which provided him with joy and a sense of community.
Known for his boundless kindness and willingness to help anyone in need, Ashton's friends and acquaintances frequently described him as "too nice." His compassionate nature was a testament to his character and left a lasting impact on everyone he encountered.
In keeping with the family's wishes, there will be a private funeral ceremony to honor Ashton's life. Those who wish to commemorate Ashton's memory are encouraged to donate to a charity of their choice. His legacy of kindness and generosity will continue to inspire all who knew him.
Ashton will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in peace, embraced by the love of his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family of Ashton Martin welcomes donations to a charity, nonprofit, church, or organization of your choosing.
