It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Arthur Spearman, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Arthur departed this earthly life on April 8, 2026, at the age of 65, following a sudden heart attack. He leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and service that will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know him. Born on July 18, 1960, in the warm embrace of Mississippi, Arthur was the cherished son of Robert and Martha Spearman. From a young age, he exhibited a spirit of determination and kindness that would define his life. He was a proud graduate of West Tallahatchie High School, where he laid the foundation for the many accomplishments that followed. Arthur answered the call of duty and served his country with honor and distinction in the United States Military for 20 years. His service was marked by bravery, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to his comrades and country. Through his military career, Arthur earned the respect and admiration of all who served alongside him, forging friendships that lasted a lifetime. Family was the cornerstone of Arthur's life. He shared a beautiful and enduring marriage with his beloved wife, Thelma, who was his steadfast partner and confidante. Together, they nurtured a loving family, raising their children Tiffany, Shante, Calvin, Cedrick Sr., and Billy with the same values and love that Arthur cherished. Arthur's presence was a source of warmth and wisdom for his 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, who affectionately referred to him as "Grandpa Art." His stories, laughter, and gentle guidance enriched their lives and left an indelible mark on their hearts. Arthur was preceded in death by his father, Cedrick Stewart Sr., and he now joins him and all his ancestors in eternal peace. His memory will continue to live on through his surviving family members and all those whose lives he touched. In keeping with Arthur's wishes, a private ceremony will be held to honor his life and legacy. While the gathering will be intimate, we encourage those who held Arthur dear to celebrate his life in their own special ways, remembering the love and joy he brought to the world. Arthur Spearman will be remembered as a man of integrity, strength, and unyielding love for his family. His legacy is one of service, compassion, and unwavering dedication to those he loved. As we bid farewell to a remarkable soul, we hold onto the cherished memories and lessons he imparted, confident that his spirit will forever watch over us. May Arthur rest in eternal peace, knowing he was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
