Arthur Ray Siecko

March 7, 1954 — March 28, 2026

Arthur Ray Siecko, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2026, at the age of 72, after a brief battle with medical complications. Born on March 7, 1954, in the close-knit community of Ganado, Jackson County, Texas, Arthur's life was a testament to the values of hard work, love, and generosity. Arthur was the cherished son of Halton and Mary Siecko. He was predeceased by his loving parents, his dear sisters Audrey Sprague, Sandra Patterson, Bonnie Siecko, and his cherished daughter, Christina Talley. Despite the heartache of these losses, Arthur's spirit remained unbroken, and his heart stayed open to all those who crossed his path. In 1975, Arthur married the love of his life, Diana Jackson, in a beautiful ceremony in Edna. Their marriage, which spanned an incredible 50 years, was a beacon of love and partnership, admired by all who knew them. Together, they created a family filled with warmth and laughter, raising their son, Corey Siecko, who, along with his wife Christy, carries on Arthur's legacy of kindness and integrity. Arthur was a devoted grandfather to Corey Siecko, Jr., and found immense joy in the company of his great-grandson, Layton Siecko. His family was his pride and joy, and he never missed an opportunity to express his love for them. A high school graduate, Arthur found his calling in the wide-open spaces of the ranching world. His career as a rancher was not just a job but a way of life that he embraced with passion and dedication. He loved nothing more than being outdoors, whether it was tending to his land or embarking on fishing and hunting adventures in the mountains of New Mexico and Colorado with his dear friend, Steve Thompson. Arthur was known for his kind-hearted and generous nature, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. His warmth and hospitality were felt by many, including his closest friends, Steve Thompson and Jon Poole, who stood by him through life's many seasons. He is survived by his devoted wife, Diana, his son Corey and daughter-in-law Christy, his loving sister Elaine James and her husband David, his brother Michael Siecko, his grandson Corey Siecko, Jr., and great-grandson Layton Siecko. Each of them carries forward the love and values that Arthur instilled in them. A service to honor and celebrate Arthur's life will be held on April 10, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Slavik's Funeral Home Chapel, located at 209 N Allen St., Edna, TX 77957. Friends and family are invited to gather and share in the remembrance of a life well-lived. Arthur Ray Siecko leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and generosity that will continue to inspire and uplift those who knew him. His spirit lives on in the hearts of those he touched, and he will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
