He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Alice Chavarria, whom he met and married in Marfa, Texas. His legacy continues through his sons, David Nieto and Xavier Nieto, and his two cherished grandchildren. Arthur's life was marked by his unwavering commitment to his family and country. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1969 to 1970 as a combat medic and a paratrooper with the 101st Airborne Division.
