Arthur Eldredge

Arthur Eldredge, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on November 2, 2026, surrounded by his dear family. Born on February 3, 1958, in East Derry, New Hampshire, Arthur was the cherished son of the late William and Hazel Eldredge. He was predeceased by his parents, who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms. Arthur shared a beautiful life with his loving spouse, Rose Owen. Their 20+ years together were filled with joy, laughter, and unwavering support. Arthur was a devoted father figure to Rose's children, Amanda Knoepfler and Stephen Owen, and affectionately known as "Arty" to his four grandchildren, who adored their fun-loving grandfather. Arthur's career as a heavy equipment operator showcased his hard-working nature and dedication. He was a man who was always willing to lend a helping hand, and his mechanical skills were often put to use assisting friends and family. His sense of humor was a treasured quality, bringing smiles and laughter to all who knew him. Arthur's love for life was evident in his passions. He found great joy on the waters of Big Island Pond, often seen chauffeuring Rose and her friends around the lake in their boat. His time spent in Chases Grove, surrounded by close friends and family, was filled with warmth and camaraderie. Arthur is survived by his loving wife, Rose Owen; his children, Amanda Knoepfler and Stephen Owen; his treasured grandchildren; and his siblings, Allen Eldredge and Wanda Steffen. His legacy of kindness, humor, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of all those whose lives he touched. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of their choice, honoring Arthur's generous spirit and his lifelong dedication to helping others. Arthur will be deeply missed, but his memory will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love he so freely gave to others.
