Arthur B. Jackson Jr., a beloved father, husband, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2014, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on September 28, 1957, in Houston, Texas, Arthur spent his formative years in New Iberia, Louisiana, where he cultivated a life rich with love, humor, and devotion to his family. Arthur was a man whose laughter could brighten any room. Known for his extraordinary sense of humor, he possessed an unparalleled ability to tell jokes that could lift the spirits of those around him. He lived his life with authenticity and warmth, embracing his imperfections and extending his love unconditionally to those he held dear. To his children, he was not only a father but also a steadfast believer in their potential, a sentiment he frequently expressed with the words, “Always remember I love you & I believe in you & I will look down on you from here on out – Love, Dad.” Arthur is survived by his five children, Treylan G.,( AnKeeta G.,)Artaisha J., Arthur J., and Chrystalan H.,(Alton Hall Jr.) Niashalah J., as well as his cherished grandchildren: Ares G., Maylana G., Massari G., Christianna H., Alton H III., and Christian H. His legacy endures through them, a testament to the deep love and pride he felt for his family. Arthur's memory will also be carried on by his extended family and countless friends, all of whom he touched with his kindness and humor.
