Art McCorkill
June 11, 1966 — April 28, 2026
Celebrating the life of Art McCorkill, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Art entered into heaven on April 28, 2026, at the age of 59, after a courageous and painful battle with cancer. BUT cancer didn’t win, Art did! He is now pain-free, happy and in the arms of Jesus!
Art was born on June 11, 1966, in Sasabo, Japan, to his parents, Tom and Donna. From a young age, Art exhibited a boundless energy that would characterize his years ahead. He laughed in the face of danger and had a rambunctious zeal for life. It was at this time he developed a passion for motorcycles.
Art and Wendy were married on the memorable date of 12/12/12. Their Christ-centered marriage was full of adventure, joy, laughter, and dreams. He was proud of his 5 kids and 6 grandchildren, who he loved dearly.
A man of faith, Art was an active member of Christ Community Church, where he was a Children’s church volunteer and an AWANA leader. His involvement in the church was a testament to his love for Jesus and his commitment to living a life that honored Him.
He was involved with the Christian Motorcyclists Association beginning in Mesquite, TX and settling in Tucson, AZ. He held several different leadership positions within those 2 chapters of CMA.
Art was known for his friendly and outgoing nature, captivating those around him with his infectious smile and loving personality. His love for Jesus was paramount in his life, guiding him through every challenge and triumph with grace and humility.
Art McCorkill leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and unwavering strength. His spirit will forever reside in the hearts of those who knew him, and his life will be remembered as a testament to the power of love and faith in Jesus Christ!
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Christian Motorcyclists Association – Run for the Son, chapter 19, an organization close to Art’s heart. https://cmausa.org/Donate/Donate?Id=RFS#Runfortheson
