It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Arletha Boyd, a beloved matriarch and cherished friend, who departed this life on August 30, 2026. Born on April 14, 1928, in the vibrant city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Arletha's journey through life was marked by grace, resilience, and an unwavering love for her family. Arletha was a beacon of warmth and kindness, known for her generous spirit and an infectious smile that could light up any room. She dedicated her life to nurturing her family, creating a legacy of love and togetherness that will be cherished for generations. She is survived by her devoted daughter Marlene, affectionately known as Sandi, and her son-in-law Gerald Clifton. Her family was her pride and joy, and she found immense happiness in the lives of her grandchildren: Kevin Wayne (Michelle) Clifton, Kelly Dwain Clifton, Tracy Steven Clifton, and Chantell Monique Perry. Arletha's legacy continues through her 21 great-grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in her heart. In her later years, Arletha was lovingly cared for by her daughter-in-law, Spring Marie Clarke, who was not only a dedicated caregiver but also a cherished member of her family. Spring's compassion and support were a source of comfort to Arletha during her time of need. Arletha's life was a testament to the power of love, family, and resilience. Her memory will forever be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know and love her.
