It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Arlene Fiske Grant, who departed this world peacefully in her sleep on February 6, 2026, at the age of 89. Born on May 2, 1936, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Arlene was a beacon of warmth and joy, whose laughter and kindness touched the lives of everyone she met. Arlene was the cherished daughter of Harvey and Cecilia Fiske, who preceded her in death, along with her dear sisters, Debbie, Lorraine, and Delores. Her family was the cornerstone of her life, and she was a wife to Leo Francis Grant. As a mother, Arlene was the heart and soul of her family, nurturing her five children, Kevin, Brian, Kelly, Patrick, and Alana, with unwavering love and support. Her legacy lives on through her 15 grandchildren: Jenna, Connor, Sean, Rian, Jillian, Kristopher, Layla, Lindsay, Ryan, Tyler, Jayson, Roy, Katherine, Rachel, and Victoria, as well as her precious great-grandchildren, Laine and Leo, who brought her immense joy and pride. Arlene's life was marked by a deep sense of faith that sustained her throughout her years. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, from cooking and gardening to sewing and reading a good book. Her inquisitive nature was evident in her love for word searches, which kept her mind sharp and engaged. Known for her infectious laughter, Arlene had a remarkable ability to bring joy and happiness to those around her. She shared a special bond with her eldest son, Kevin, creating delightful videos that spread laughter and joy to all who viewed them. Her sense of humor and light-hearted spirit will forever be remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing her. A celebration of Arlene's life will be held on May 1, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Paul’s Church, located in Tampa, Florida. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Angel and Rachel, whose compassionate care at The Colonnade North in Tampa provided comfort and support during her final days. As we mourn the loss of Arlene, we also celebrate the incredible life she lived and the indelible mark she left on our hearts. Her love, laughter, and legacy will continue to inspire and guide her family for generations to come. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made in Arlene's memory to a charity of your choice. May her soul rest in eternal peace, and may her memory be a blessing to all who knew her.
