Ardis Mose, Jr.

Ardis Mose, Jr., a beloved husband, stepfather, and grandfather, passed away peacefully at the age of 79. Born on November 21, 1946, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, Ardis was the cherished son of the late Ardis and Emma Mose. He was preceded in death by his dear sister, Alice Mae. Ardis graduated from Ardmore High School in 1965 and went on to attend Haskell Institute in Lawrence, Kansas, where he nurtured a lifelong love for learning and community. He dedicated 35 years of his life to the United States Postal Service in Dallas, Texas. Ardis was not just a diligent worker but a friendly face to many in the community, known for his warm smile and genuine care for others. In 1980, Ardis married the love of his life, Alene Webber, with whom he shared 46 beautiful years. Together, they built a home filled with laughter and love, welcoming friends and family with open arms. Ardis was a devoted stepfather to Monte Tehee, and a proud grandfather to two grandchildren and great-grandfather to one great-grandchild, whose visits brought immense joy to his life. Beyond his professional and family life, Ardis had a passion for bowling and shooting pool. He was an avid bowler, spending countless joyful hours at the lanes. His love for the game was matched by his enthusiasm for pool, where he displayed both skill and camaraderie. Ardis' legacy is one of kindness, dedication, and love. His memory will be cherished by his surviving wife, Alene, and stepson, Monte, along with his grandchildren and great-grandchild, who carry forward the values he instilled in them. In accordance with his wishes, a private ceremony will be held to honor Ardis' life. Those who wish to honor his memory are encouraged to make a donation to a charity of their choice, reflecting Ardis’ generous spirit and commitment to making the world a better place. Ardis Mose, Jr. will be dearly missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know him.
