July 24, 1941 — August 27, 2026

Archie Allen Hall, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on August 27, 2026, surrounded by his devoted family. Born on July 24, 1941, in Kalamazoo, MI, Archie lived a life full of love, laughter, and dedication, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and joy. Archie was the cherished son of the late Archie and Ruth Hall and grew up with his siblings Bill, Wayne, and Sandy, all of whom predeceased him. His gentle spirit and warm smile touched the hearts of everyone who had the privilege to know him. In 1964, Archie married the love of his life, JoAnn Hall, in Long Beach, CA. Together, they shared 62 beautiful years filled with love, resilience, and countless cherished memories. They raised three wonderful children, Debra (Ken) Macek, Archie Hall Jr., and Rex Hall, who brought immense pride and happiness to their lives. Archie's heart was full when surrounded by his grandchildren, Amanda Hall, Kenny Macek, and Lisa Macek, who brought him endless joy. His great-grandchildren, Nolan Macek and Leon Macek, were the light of his later years, and he adored every moment spent with them. A dedicated worker, Archie held multiple jobs throughout his life before retiring from Gobles Public School, where he served as a janitor. His strong work ethic and dedication to his duties were admired by all who knew him. Archie enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, such as playing golf on occasion, watching sports, and participating in different bowling leagues, where he fostered camaraderie and shared laughter with his teammates. He was a man with a kind heart, always making people smile with his warm presence and gentle humor. His compassion and generosity were felt deeply by his family and friends, including his many nieces and nephews, and dear friends Frank, Suzanne, Janie, Sheryl, Teresa, Jim, Stacey, Kay, and Johnny. In the last days of his life, The Medical Team Hospice provided exceptional care and compassion, and the family extends their heartfelt gratitude for their support and kindness. In memory of Archie, the family prefers donations to be made to a charity of your choice in his honor. A private ceremony will be held to celebrate Archie’s life, as per the family's wishes. While we mourn his passing, we also celebrate a life well-lived and the love he shared with us all. Archie's spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
