Peterson-Crawford, a beloved wife, daughter, and friend, who peacefully departed this world on June 21, 2026, at the age of 48, after bravely battling a prolonged illness. April passed away in the comfort of her home, surrounded by the love and warmth of her family. Born on June 4, 1978, April brought immense joy to her parents, Debra Gunter and George White. Throughout her life, April exemplified strength, resilience, and a profound capacity for love. Her journey was marked by her unwavering spirit and her dedication to making the world a better place. April's journey began at Franklin High School, where she earned her GED, demonstrating an early commitment to her personal growth and education. She continued her academic pursuits at Grand Colton University, where she studied Addiction Counseling. April's dedication to her studies was fueled by her desire to help and support those in need, a testament to her compassionate heart and her commitment to service. April's life was enriched by her marriage to Anthony Crawford, her devoted partner for 15 years. Their union was a testament to enduring love, characterized by mutual respect and unwavering support. Together, they created a life filled with laughter, love, and cherished memories. April was survived by her six beloved children, Andrew, Austin, Christa (Carey), Tera Smith, Honesty Taylor, and Aryanna Crawford, whose memories she cherished deeply. Though she had no grandchildren or great-grandchildren, her legacy of love and kindness will be carried on by her surviving family and friends. A service to honor April's life and celebrate her memory will be held on June 26, 2026, at 4:30 PM. The service will take place at the family home, a place filled with many joyful memories.
