Antonio Garcia Lemon Sr, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on November 16, 1934, in Aberdeen, Maryland, Antonio was the beloved son of Thomas and Marcia Lemon. Antonio lived a life full of hard work and deep love, dedicating over 40 years as a steel laborer. His work ethic and commitment to his job were admired by many, but it was his character that truly left a lasting impression on all who knew him. Known for his quick wit and warm smile, Antonio had an uncanny ability to brighten any room. His humor was infectious, often sharing jokes to lift spirits and create laughter wherever he went. A loving husband to Elizabeth for 60 beautiful years, their bond was a testament to enduring love and companionship. Together, they raised three wonderful children, nurturing a family rooted in love, respect, and kindness. Although predeceased by their son, Antonio Garcia Lemon Jr, Antonio Sr's legacy lives on through his surviving children, David and Carrie, and his six grandchildren: Antonia, James, Alfredo, Marcie, Ray, and Ivy. He also leaves behind 15 great-grandchildren, each carrying forward the light and love he imparted. Antonio's warmth extended beyond his family to everyone he encountered. A man of boundless generosity, he had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel welcome and valued. His kindness touched countless lives, creating a ripple of goodwill that will continue to resonate through the many hearts he touched. A service to honor and celebrate Antonio's life will be held on September 5, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Union Baptist Church, located at 2616 Carter St, Wilmington, DE. Family and friends are invited to gather and share in the memories and joy that Antonio brought into their lives. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Antonio's generous spirit. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten, as his legacy of love and laughter continues to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.
