With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Antonio Deandre Barton, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who departed this life on April 1, 2026, at the age of 53. Antonio was born on March 20, 1973, in the vibrant city of Memphis, Tennessee, to the late Henry Barton and Corene Nash, whose love and guidance shaped the man he became. Antonio was a beacon of strength and perseverance throughout his life. He graduated from West Memphis High School in 1991, where he laid the foundation for a life dedicated to service and family. Shortly after, he embarked on a ten-year journey with the U.S. Air Force, a tenure marked by dedication and bravery, culminating in an honorable discharge in 2002. Antonio's commitment to excellence followed him into civilian life, where he built a steadfast career at Loomis, offering over two decades of loyal service. On January 3, 1993, Antonio married the love of his life, Teresa Robinson, in West Memphis, Arkansas. Together, they nurtured a beautiful family, raising four exceptional children: Julius (Monica) Barton, Tonia (Jarvis) Cooper, Mason Barton, and Jace Barton. Their home was a haven of love, laughter, and learning, where Antonio's legacy of kindness and integrity will continue to inspire. Antonio was preceded in death by his cherished parents, Henry and Corene, and his beloved sisters, Doris Robinson and Diane Gray. He leaves behind to celebrate his memory his devoted wife Teresa, his adoring children, and his treasured grandchildren, who brought endless joy to his days. Antonio is also survived by his siblings Sandra (Richard) Barrom, Jennifer Sloan, Jimmy (Dianna) Sloan Jr., and Donte Barton (Korrine), along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and numerous friends who were touched by his warmth and generosity. Antonio’s life was a testament to the power of love and dedication. He was a guiding light to his family and friends, always ready with a comforting word or a helping hand. His legacy extends beyond his immediate family to the many lives he influenced with his kindness and unwavering support. The Barton family wishes to express their deep appreciation for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. They find solace in the friendships and community that have surrounded them, grateful for the kind expressions of sympathy that have brought comfort in moments of sorrow. A service to honor Antonio's life will be held at a date to be announced, where family and friends will gather to celebrate the remarkable journey of a man whose life made a significant impact on all who knew him. His spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who were privileged to know him, and his memory will continue to inspire love and kindness in the world.
