April 10, 1943 — March 26, 2026

It is with profound sadness and tender hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Antonio Arias Espinoza, who departed this world peacefully on March 26, 2026, at the age of 82. Antonio was born on April 10, 1943, in the tranquil town of Aguascalientes Molinos, México, a place that forever held his heart and shaped his spirit. Antonio was a man who embodied the essence of love, kindness, and familial devotion. Preceded in death by his cherished sons Ricardo Arias and Jaime Arias, he is now reunited with them in eternal peace. Antonio is survived by his loving wife, Elisa Romo Arias, whose partnership was a testament to unwavering love and commitment, a union that inspired all who knew them. A dedicated and proud father, Antonio's legacy lives on through his 12 children: Armando (Gloria), Gustavo (Adela), Javier (Belén), Jaime (Patricia "García"), Juan, Jesús, Humberto (Maria), Miguel, Ricardo, Ángeles (José Falcón), Mireya (Humberto Montañez), and Verónica (Ricardo Espinoza). His heart expanded with each new addition to the family, and he found immense joy in his role as a grandfather to 34 grandchildren and a great-grandfather to 20 great-grandchildren. Antonio's life was a testament to the enduring power of love and laughter. He imparted wisdom through his actions, teaching those around him the value of humility, generosity, and the importance of a united family. His words, "La Muerte no es nada," remind us that love transcends physical presence, encouraging us to continue living joyfully and to remember him with smiles rather than tears. His life's philosophy was a gentle reminder that, though he has moved to "la habitación de al lado," he remains in our hearts, a guiding light in times of darkness. Antonio's spirit was one of warmth and tenderness, and he leaves behind a legacy of love that will be felt for generations. A Mass to celebrate Antonio's life will be held on March 28, 2026, at 2:00 PM, at the Templo de San Rafael Arcángel in Molinos, where family and friends will gather to honor a life well-lived. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that you take a moment to share a story or memory that Antonio's life inspired in you, as his memory will continue to live on through the stories we tell. As we say farewell to our cherished Antonio, let us remember him with the laughter and joy that he so generously shared with us all. Though his physical presence will be dearly missed, his spirit remains, a constant companion on the journey ahead. "Enjuaga tus lágrimas y no llores si me amas," Antonio reminded us, for he is not far, just on the other side of the path, waiting with open arms and a heart full of love.
