It is with profound love and deep respect that we announce the peaceful passing of Antonia Nelida Claros, a cherished matriarch, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Antonia departed this world on April 15, 2026, at the age of 89, surrounded by the warmth and comfort of her family and home in Houston, Texas.
Antonia was born on June 13, 1936, in the vibrant city of Cochabamba, Bolivia, to her devoted parents, Francisco Claros and Elvira Quiroga. Her life was one marked by resilience, love, and an unwavering dedication to her family and community.
Throughout her remarkable journey, Antonia was predeceased by her parents, her beloved son Mauricio Pizarroso, and her dear brothers Lucio, Jorge, Jose, and Hernan Claros. We take solace in the thought that they are now joyfully reunited.
Antonia's legacy of love continues to thrive through her surviving family, which includes her devoted daughter, Miriam Richter, and her loving son, Hugo Richter. Her siblings Maria Claros, Christina Claros, Rene Claros, and Jesus Claros. Her grandchildren, Claudia Gomez, Carla Lara, Ronald Richter, Vladimir Richter, and Leonel Richter, remember her as their guiding light and source of unconditional love.
Her great-grandchildren, Anthony Gomez, Eliza Gomez, Samuel Gomez, Elianna Dvizac, Gael Richter, Matias Richter, Sofia Richter, and Luciana Richter. Her great-great-grandchildren Sophia Gomez, Sylas Batts, and Isabella Gomez will forever carry forward her spirit of kindness and generosity.
Her extended family, including Luz Medrano Richter, Salomon Gomez Jr, Kamren Batts, Makayla Gomez, Camila Vargas, and Dennysse Richter, will always cherish the memories of her laughter and the warmth of her embrace.
Antonia's life will be celebrated with a memorial service on April 25, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Leal Funeral Home, located at 11123 IH-10 E, Houston, TX 77079. Family, friends, and all those whose lives were touched by her gentle spirit are invited to gather in honoring her memory and celebrating a life well-lived.
In the words of her loving family, "A wonderful mother, grandmother, and abuelita. Forever in our hearts." These words are a testament to the immense love and joy she brought to those around her.
