Antonia H. Cardona

Antonia H. Cardona, 92, of Aloha, Oregon passed away peacefully at her home on April 18, 2026. Antonia was born on January 9, 1934 in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. The daughter of the late Jose and Alberta Hernandez who were blessed with 13 Children. Antonia was the last of these children to pass away. Antonia was married to her beloved husband of 61 years, Oscar Sr., who passed away in 2020. She is survived by her two sons and their spouses; Oscar and Paula Cardona and Jorge and Mary Cardona, four grandchildren and their spouse; Nicholas and Jeanette Cardona, Troy Cardona, Aubrey Cardona and Oliver Cardona and one great grandson, James Oscar Cardona. She is also survived by her two loving nieces; Carmen Smith and Iris Jones as well as numerous other family members and friends. In 1960, Antonia and Oscar Sr. moved from San Juan, Puerto Rico to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to be nearer to some of her brothers and sisters and to raise their two sons. Antonia worked many years at Everett Sewing Company as a Sewing Supervisor and a Master Sample Maker where she made samples for many major department stores. In 2004, Antonia and Oscar moved to Beaverton, Oregon to escape the brutal Wisconsin winters and to live closer to some of their grandchildren. Antonia always had a great passion for cooking Puerto Rican meals and baking sweet treats for her family and friends. She loved watching music shows, award shows and beauty pagents, especially when Miss Puerto Rico would win. She loved receiving beautiful flowers, reading Danielle Steele romance novels and spending time with her family and friends. Antonia will be forever missed, but it gives us great solace to know that she and Oscar Sr. are both together now and watching lovingly over all of us.
