Antoine was the beloved son of Albertha Sanders, Grandma Effie Ferguson, aunt Mattie Ferguson, aunt Carolyn Ferguson, and Brother James Cobbins, predeceased him. He is lovingly remembered by his sister Mary Cobbins, brother Ronald Cobbins, and an extended family of devoted nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles who cherished him deeply.
Antoine's life was characterized by his passion for music, with a special admiration for the legendary rapper Tupac. His love for music was matched only by his love for people. Antoine had an uncanny ability to make those around him feel cherished and valued, often creating lasting memories with his infectious smile and warm, soft-spoken voice. He was a man of kindness, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need, and his lovable nature endeared him to everyone fortunate enough to cross his path.
Though Antoine did not have grandchildren, his legacy lives on through the countless lives he touched with his generosity and love. His presence will be sorely missed, but the light he brought into this world will never be forgotten.
A celebration of Antoine's life will be held on September 26, 2026, at 1:30 PM at the Compton Family House. Family, friends, and all those whose hearts were touched by Antoine are invited to join us in honoring his memory and celebrating the remarkable life he led.
