Anthony Wade Melland

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Anthony Wade Melland, affectionately known as Tony, on August 19, 2026, at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, Minnesota. Born on March 23, 1982, in St. Cloud, Minnesota, Tony lived a life filled with warmth, kindness, and a genuine love for those around him. Tony was the beloved son of Dennis S. and Carol A. Melland, who nurtured and supported him throughout his life. From a young age, he exhibited a natural charm and a knack for making friends effortlessly. His easy-going personality and infectious smile left a lasting impression on everyone he met. A proud graduate of Blaine High School in Blaine, Minnesota, Tony carried the friendships and values he formed there throughout his life. His intellect and patience were nowhere more evident than in his passion for puzzles. Tony had a particular fondness for puzzles of no less than 1,000 pieces, relishing the challenge they presented and the quiet satisfaction of completing them. Tony's curiosity extended to the digital world, where he enjoyed exploring various programs on his Kindle. His evenings were often spent indulging in his favorite television show, "The Price Is Right," a pastime that brought him immense joy and excitement. Despite the challenges he faced, Tony approached life with a positive outlook and an open heart. His ability to see the good in people and situations was a testament to his character and the love he had for the world around him. In honor of Tony's memory, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, reflecting Tony's generous spirit and his belief in helping others. While our hearts are heavy with loss, we find solace in the memories of Tony's laughter, his kindness, and the love he spread wherever he went. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
