Anthony Dewayne Meeks

It is with heavy hearts and cherished memories that we announce the passing of Anthony Dewayne Meeks, who left this world on July 4, 2026, at the age of 39. Born on October 10, 1986, in Marks, Mississippi, Anthony was a beacon of laughter and love in the lives of all who knew him.
Anthony was the beloved son of Betty Meeks Beals and the late Wayne Ware. He was a devoted father to his son, Kyng Meeks, who was the light of his life. Also left behind his Stepfather Michael Beals. Anthony was also a cherished brother to Kevin Meeks (Jennifer), Tracy Baker, and Terrance Meeks, and a loving brother to his sister, Kendra (Terry).
Anthony was surrounded by a large and loving family, including aunts Mary S., Catherine, Pearlie, Dorothy, Mary W., Lavone, Martha, Lisa, and Jean, as well as uncles Robert James, Tommie, James, Johnny, Jimmy Lee, Billy Joe, and Tommy Lee. He was predeceased by his father "Wayne Ware", Grandfather " Robert Meeks, Wesly Ware Sr. ", Grandmothers "Eunice Meeks, Early B. Ware" and several aunts and uncles, including Rosie B., Robbin, Earl, Willie James, and Wesly. His legacy is further carried on by a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews who adored him.
Anthony attended E.E. Smith High School, where he began to shape his life around the values of friendship and loyalty. He later found his professional calling as a machine operator at Toyota in Batesville, MS, where he was known for his hard work and dedication.
Above all, Anthony was renowned for his tremendous heart and his ability to make everyone around him laugh. He had a unique gift for bringing joy and light to any room, lifting spirits with his humor and kindness. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family, especially when caring for his beloved son, Kyng.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has offered support during this difficult time. Your kindness has been a source of comfort and strength.
A service to celebrate Anthony's life will be held on July 18, 2026, at Valley Queen Missionary Baptist Church, located at 404 Humphrey Ave, Marks, MS. The service will begin at 12:00 PM, where we will gather to honor the life of a man who touched so many.
May his soul find peace, and may his memory forever be a blessing to all who knew him.
