Anthony Allen Horta

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Anthony Allen Horta, who departed this earthly life on April 22, 2026. Born on December 29, 1975, in the close-knit community of Globe, Arizona, Anthony's journey through life was marked by kindness, generosity, and an unwavering devotion to helping others. Anthony was the beloved son of the late Edward C. Horta and Rebecca B. Horta, who undoubtedly welcomed him into their loving arms in the afterlife. He is also predeceased by his cherished sisters, Antonia (fondly known as Ortie) and Lorena, as well as his dear nephew, Leonard (Lenny) Aceves. Their memories and spirits undoubtedly continue to shine brightly in the lives of all who knew them. From a young age, Anthony demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to hard work, a trait that he carried with him throughout his life, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he encountered. His warm smile had the power to light up any room, and his deep knowledge of the Bible and its verses served as a source of inspiration and comfort to those around him. Anthony's faith was a guiding light, leading him to embody the very essence of generosity and selflessness. He possessed a rare willingness to go without so that someone else could have, a testament to his boundless compassion and love for humanity. Although he preferred to lead a life of quiet humility, Anthony's impact on those who knew him was profound and enduring. His legacy of love and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of those he touched. As per his family's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Anthony's memory. Left to cherish his memory are his devoted niece Tracy James and her husband, Robert; his brother, Edward Horta, and his wife, Marion; his niece Adrienne Conley; his nephew Darren Aceves; and many great-nephews and nieces who will continue to carry forward the values he held dear. In this time of sorrow, Anthony's family finds solace in the knowledge that he is reunited with his loved ones who have gone before him. They wish to express their heartfelt gratitude to all who have reached out with love and support during this difficult time. Anthony Allen Horta's life may have been marked by its brevity, but his spirit and the lessons he imparted will endure for generations.
