Annette Renate Pate July 16, 1949 - December 9, 2025 It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Annette Renate Pate on December 9, 2025, after a courageous battle with leukemia. Born on July 16, 1949, in the quaint town of Werdohl-Eveking, Germany, Annette was a beacon of warmth and kindness, known and cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Annette was the beloved daughter of the late Irmgard Anna and Joseph Lambert, who instilled in her a love for family and a resilience that carried her through life's many chapters. She was also predeceased by her devoted husband, George W. Pate, with whom she shared a beautiful marriage spanning nearly five decades. George was Annette's first love, and their union on December 26, 1968, marked the beginning of a remarkable journey filled with love, laughter, and shared dreams. Together, Annette and George built a loving home, nurturing their daughter, Trisha Pate, who remains Annette's greatest joy and legacy. Trisha, her cherished daughter, survives her, carrying forward the values of kindness, strength, and compassion that Annette embodied. Annette found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a profound love for gardening, where she spent many serene hours nurturing her plants, finding solace and beauty in nature's bounty. Her hands were seldom idle, as she was also passionate about knitting and crocheting, creating beautiful pieces that warmed the hearts and hands of her family and friends. Friday was a special day of the week for Annette, as it meant a cherished girls' day with her sister, Leane. These gatherings were filled with laughter, shared stories, and a deep familial bond that Annette treasured immensely. While life tested Annette with the loss of her husband, parents, and dear Patricia Lambert, her spirit remained unyielding. Her resilience and grace were an inspiration to all who knew her, a testament to a life well-lived and a spirit that will forever remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind. In keeping with Annette's personal wishes, a private funeral service will be held, allowing her family and close friends to gather in a circle of love and remembrance, honoring her life and legacy in an intimate setting. As we bid farewell to Annette Renate Pate, we remember a life marked by love, devotion, and a gentle strength that touched the lives of everyone she met. May her memory be a blessing to all who knew her, and may she rest in eternal peace, reunited with those she loved dearly.
