With profound sorrow and a deep sense of loss, we announce the passing of Annette Louise Wells Faulkner, a cherished soul who graced this world on September 16, 1963, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and departed on March 24, 2025. Annette's life was a tapestry of love, warmth, and generosity, woven with the threads of her joy for dancing and her exceptional culinary talents.
Born to Mr. and Mrs. Wells, Annette was the heartbeat of her family, a beacon of love and strength. The loss of her beloved parents and grandparents weighed heavily on her, yet she bore it with grace and resilience, embodying the same kindness and compassion they instilled in her.
Annette was a proud alumna of McLain High School, where she began to cultivate her lifelong love of dance and cooking. Known throughout Tulsa as one of the best cooks in town, Annette's kitchen was a place of comfort and joy, the tantalizing aromas of her dishes a testament to her exceptional skill and passion. Her dishes brought people together, fostering community and creating memories that will linger in the hearts of all who had the privilege of sharing a meal with her.
Her dance through life was accompanied by her devoted husband, Mr. Faulkner. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, adventure, and unwavering support. Annette embraced her extended family, including her husband's three brothers and four sisters, as well as her many nieces, nephews, and cousins, with open arms and an open heart.
Annette's legacy is one of love and service, touching countless lives with her kindness and generosity. Her family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has offered support and assistance during this difficult time. Your help in planning and preparing the services, the food that was brought, and the thoughtful cards have been a source of comfort and strength.
A service to honor and celebrate Annette's life will be held on February 16, 2026, at 2:16 PM at Jacks, located at 25 E 36th St N. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Green Acer, an organization that was close to Annette's heart.
