December 11, 1966 — April 28, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Annette DeJesus, a beloved soul who graced this world with her kindness and compassion for 59 beautiful years. Annette departed this life on April 28, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love and selflessness that will forever be cherished by those who knew her. Annette was born on December 11, 1966, in Vineland, New Jersey, to the late Lydia Gonzalez. From a young age, Annette embodied a spirit of generosity and warmth, qualities that she carried with her throughout her entire life. She was predeceased by her beloved mother, Lydia, with whom she now rests in eternal peace. Annette's life was a testament to the power of love and family. At the tender age of 15, she met her lifelong partner, Adolfo Marquez Jr., in their hometown of Vineland. Together, they embarked on a journey that would see the birth of their cherished son, Aj Marquez. Annette’s devotion to her family was unwavering; she adored spending time with Aj, her “little one,” a term of endearment that encapsulated the depth of her affection. Her heart was further filled with joy by her four treasured grandchildren: Lylly, Gabriel, Ximena, and Iridessa. Annette found immense pleasure in the simple moments spent with her grandkids, creating memories that will be fondly remembered and held close in their hearts. Annette was the embodiment of kindness and altruism. She was always ready to extend a helping hand, often giving her last to those in need. Her love was not confined to her family but extended to all children, whom she treated with an open heart and a nurturing spirit. Her loving nature touched the lives of many, and her absence leaves a void that can never truly be filled. Alongside Adolfo and Aj, Annette is survived by her four siblings, numerous nieces and nephews, and a wide circle of friends and extended family who will forever miss her presence. Her family takes solace in the special memories they shared and the knowledge that her legacy of love and generosity will continue to inspire them. In honor of Annette's wishes, a private ceremony will be held to celebrate her life. The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love and support from all who have reached out during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, they ask for acts of kindness in Annette's memory, reflecting the life she lived. The family shares this message with all who knew Annette: "Forever loved and forever will be missed." As we mourn Annette's passing, we find comfort in the words of Matthew 11:28: "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." May she rest peacefully, cradled in the love of those who have gone before her, and in the arms of the Almighty. Annette DeJesus will be remembered for her boundless love and generosity, qualities that defined her life and touched the hearts of those fortunate enough to know her. Her spirit will live on in the lives she enriched and the love she so freely gave.
