In Loving Memory

Annette Carol Midyette
July 14, 1944 — April 10, 2026
Annette Carol Midyette, a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, peacefully departed this life on April 10, 2026, at the age of 81. Annette was born on July 14, 1944, in Jacksonville, Florida, where she spent much of her life bringing joy and warmth to all who knew her.
Annette was a woman of quiet strength and boundless love. She dedicated many years to her community as a school bus driver, a role in which she not only transported children but also touched their hearts with her nurturing spirit and gentle smile. Her commitment to the safety and well-being of the children she drove was a testament to her caring nature and unwavering dedication.
Annette was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David Midyette Sr., her parents, her sisters, and her dear daughter, Reba Ann Cormican. Though their loss was deeply felt, Annette carried their memories with grace and courage, embodying resilience and love in every aspect of her life.
Her legacy lives on through her surviving children: daughters Helen and Priss, and her son, Clinton Midyette. Annette took immense pride in her family, and her love extended to her seven grandchildren—Tyler, Christina, Jessica, Erika, Dustin, Marisa, and Brandon—each of whom she adored and cherished. Her family grew even larger with the arrival of 17 great-grandchildren, who were blessed to know the warmth and kindness of their great-grandmother.
Annette's journey ended after a courageous battle, following complications from surgery. Despite the challenges she faced, Annette's strength and spirit never wavered. She leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and a lifetime of treasured memories.
In accordance with her wishes, a private ceremony will be held on June 15, 2026, where family and close friends will gather to celebrate Annette's life and bid farewell to a beloved matriarch who touched so many lives with her kindness and compassion.
Though Annette has left this world, her warmth, love, and laughter remain etched in the hearts of those who knew her. Her life serves as a reminder of the impact one can have through simple acts of kindness, and she will forever be remembered with love and admiration.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a local children's charity in Annette's honor, reflecting her lifelong commitment to nurturing and supporting the younger generations.
