In Loving Memory

ANNE OLIVIA FACENTE
August 29, 1952 — February 7, 2026
It is with deep sorrow yet profound gratitude for a life beautifully lived that we announce the passing of Anne Olivia Facente, aged 73, on February 7, 2026. Born on August 29, 1952, in St. Paul, Minnesota, Anne departed this world peacefully surrounded by her loving family, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and unwavering love.
Anne was the cherished daughter of Joseph and Audrey Facente, who predeceased her, and she carried forward their legacy of love and compassion. She is survived by her devoted siblings, Robert Johnson and Joellyn Soler, and her beloved son, Joseph Facente, who was the light of her life.
A proud alumna of Saint Mary's University, Anne earned her Associate's Degree, which marked the beginning of an inspiring 25-year career at the University of Minnesota. There, Anne was not just a dedicated employee but a cherished colleague and friend to many, known for her attention to detail and her genuine care for those around her.
Anne's artistic spirit found expression in her love for painting, especially capturing the serene beauty of natural landscapes. Her home was adorned with her creations, each piece a testament to her talent and her ability to see beauty in the world. Anne's true joy, however, was found in the company of her family and friends. Whether she was answering a call, responding to a message, or sharing a meal, Anne's presence was a gift to all who knew her. She delighted in the milestones of her loved ones, always eager to see a new photo of their children and grandchildren.
To honor Anne's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in her memory to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV), an organization dear to Anne's heart.
The family extends their deepest gratitude to the compassionate staff at Saint Therese at St. Odilia for their unwavering commitment to providing Anne with quality care in her final days.
Anne Olivia Facente's departure leaves a void that cannot be filled, yet her life serves as a beacon of love and kindness to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be dearly missed, but her spirit will forever be a guiding light in the hearts of her family and friends.
May her soul rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the beauty she loved so dearly.
