With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Annalise Lewis, who left this world on May 22, 2026, at the tender age of 13. Born on August 26, 2012, in the enchanting city of Florence, Italy, Annalise was a radiant soul whose warmth and kindness touched everyone she encountered. A gentle spirit with an insatiable passion for the arts, Annalise embraced the beauty of the world through her love for music and all things creative. Whether painting a sunset or singing a sweet melody, her artistic endeavors were a clear reflection of her vibrant and imaginative mind. Annalise had a profound appreciation for nature and a deep affection for animals, which led her to spend countless hours exploring the outdoors, always marveling at the simple wonders of life. Her playful curiosity and compassionate heart made her a dear friend to every creature, great and small. Those who knew Annalise will remember her for her infectious smile and the warmth she brought into every room. Her friendly and sweet demeanor was a beacon of light, and her willingness to lend a hand or offer a comforting word made her a cherished friend to many. Annalise had a unique gift for making others feel seen and valued, and her quiet strength and gentle kindness left an indelible mark on all who crossed her path. Annalise is preceded in death by her devoted grandfather, Jesse "Lanny" Yarbro; her loving uncle, Jesse Yarbro; and her great-grandfather, the legendary Jesse "Super Jesse" Yarbro. Their memories have been a source of strength and inspiration for her, and now she joins them in eternal peace. While the family will hold a private ceremony to honor Annalise's life, they invite all who knew her to remember the joy she brought into the world. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that those who wish to honor Annalise's memory consider making a donation to a charity supporting youth mental health or animal welfare, causes that were close to her heart. Though her time with us was far too brief, Annalise's spirit will continue to inspire acts of kindness and creativity in all who were fortunate enough to share in her life. Her legacy is one of love, compassion, and beauty—a testament to the remarkable young woman she was and always will be in our hearts.
