In Loving Memory

Annalien Lucille Hamilton-Morris
January 2, 2026 — September 22, 2026
Annalien Lucille Hamilton-Morris, lovingly known as Poptarts, was born on January 2, 2026, in Clarion, Iowa. She brought immeasurable joy to her parents, Charles Morris and Alyssa Hamilton, during her brief yet impactful life. On September 22, 2026, Anna passed away peacefully in the loving arms of her parents at the Iowa Children’s Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa.
From the moment she entered this world, Anna was a beacon of light and strength. Born with Noonan’s Syndrome, she faced challenges with a resilience that belied her tender age. Though the condition took her ability to use words, Anna's stubborn spirit ensured that she always communicated what was in her heart. Her parents often marveled at how she could follow them across the room with her eyes, defying the notion that she was deaf and blind. In Anna's gaze, they found a profound connection and understanding that transcended words.
Anna's favorite moments were spent in the warm embrace of her parents. She adored her tummy time, a simple pleasure that brought her much happiness. Yet, nothing compared to the comfort and love she felt being held by those who cherished her most.
Though her time on earth was short, Anna's impact was profound. She joined many family members in death, including her great grandparents Pat and John Dean, Great Grandpa Ronnie Culver , Great Grandpa Merlin Murphy, Uncle Zach Childress, and many others who went before her. The legacy of love and courage she leaves behind will forever be etched in the hearts of her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her story.
In memory of Anna and to honor her life, the family kindly suggests donations be made to organizations supporting children with Noonan’s Syndrome or to the Iowa Children's hospital, and Ronald McDonald House Charities, that took care of not only all of our Poptarts' needs, but Donut, Snack Shack, and her folks.
Anna's life, though brief, was a testament to love's enduring power and the strength found in the smallest of souls. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered by those who held her dear.
