Born on March 25, 1937, iin Brooklyn, NY. Anna was the beloved daughter of Joe and Rose Savoca. Anna's journey through life was marked by her vibrant personality, sense of adventure and her unwavering dedication to family and community. She spent her formative years in Brooklyn, NY, where she graduated from Prospect Heights High School. Her pursuit of knowledge and passion for the arts led her to San Francisco State and ultimately to Rivier College, where she completed her degree in Fine Arts. Anna's zest for life was evident in her love for travel, her avid gardening, and her deep appreciation for art and art history. Her sweet tooth was legendary, often indulging in the delights that brought her such joy. Those who knew Anna will fondly remember her as a warm and caring person with an adorable nature and a heart as big as her smile. She had an easy laugh and a sweet smile that could light up any room. As a friend and mother, she was nothing short of wonderful, always interesting and interested in people and culture. Her adventurous spirit saw her packing a suitcase at a moment's notice, ready to explore the world with an infectious enthusiasm that made her a fantastic and knowledgeable travel companion. Anna's sense of humor and her ability to connect with others left a lasting impression on everyone she met. A proud member of the Italian American Clubs in New Jersey and Santa Rosa, CA, Anna cherished the sense of community and belonging that these organizations provided. Her love for her heritage was evident in all aspects of her life. Anna's legacy continues through her devoted husband, George Golfieri, and her brother, Ronald Savoca. She is survived by her beloved children, Theo Buck, Cynthia Buck, Jennifer Buck, and Clarissa and Seth Kalman, who were the light of her life. Her adored grandchildren, Giacomo, Luca, and Coco, brought her immense joy and pride. She loved her niece and nephew Maria Newberg and Joe Savoca. She also leaves behind many cherished cousins. Anna's family requests that in lieu of flowers, go one a trip, plant a garden or enjoy a day with hyour children or grandchildren. As we celebrate Anna's remarkable life, we hold her memory dear, cherishing the moments shared and the love she bestowed upon us all.
