It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Anna Jean Conway, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, on July 31,2026. She was born on November 11, 1949, in Denton, Texas, to Mary and John Latham. Anna's radiant spirit and unwavering kindness touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her. Anna was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and John Latham, and her brother, Donald Walright. Despite these profound losses, Anna's strength and resilience shone brightly as she continued to cherish and nurture her family. She is survived by her devoted son, Thomas Latham, and his wife, Sarina, of Slidell, Texas; her loving daughter, Rebecca Vandeventer, of Forestburg, Texas; and her cherished granddaughters, Jackie Allison of Burleson, Texas, and Crystal Feazell of Boyd, Texas. Throughout her life, Anna was known for her generous spirit and her dedication to those she loved. Her warmth and compassion were felt by all, and she found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially in spending time with her family and grandchildren, who were the light of her life. A service to honor and celebrate Anna’s life will be held on August 14, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Hawkins Funeral Home in Wichita Falls, Texas. Friends and family are invited to gather and share in the memories of a life well-lived. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Anna's memory to the American Heart Association, an organization dear to her heart, located in Dallas, Texas. Anna Jean Conway's legacy of love, strength, and kindness will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who were blessed to know her.
