Born in the charming town of Lake City, Florida, Anna graced this world on the final day of 1948, the cherished daughter of Johnnie Knight Dobson and Mary Dobson. Anna's life was a testament to love, kindness, and enduring friendships. She shared over 35 wonderful years with her beloved husband, Jeffrey Stortz, in a marriage that was anchored in Lake City, a place that held their dearest memories. Together, they built a life rich in joy and companionship. Her career at Anderson Columbia was not merely a job but an extension of her family. For over 25 years, Anna was not only a dedicated employee but also a beloved colleague who fostered many close and lifelong friendships. Her presence was a source of warmth, and her absence will be deeply felt by those who knew her best. Anna had an innate talent for crafting beauty. Her love for crafts, flowers, and decorating was evident in every project she undertook, infusing color and creativity into the lives of those around her. Her generous spirit was most apparent in the joy she found in giving gifts, a gesture that reflected her deep affection and thoughtfulness for family and friends alike. Anna is survived by her devoted husband, Jeffrey, her loving daughter Lori Barker, and her adored grandchildren Lauren Barker and Zach (Madyson) Barker. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren, Brynley and Camilla. She is also remembered fondly by her brother, Leslie (Candy) Dobson, and her many nieces and nephews. Though predeceased by her parents and her sister, Mary Jane Sanders, Anna's influence and love endure in the hearts of her family. In accordance with her wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Anna's remarkable life.
