Ann C. Koberg

Ann C. Koberg, a beloved mother, grandmother, teacher, and cherished member of her community, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2026, at the age of 89. Born on March 13, 1937, in St. Paul, Minnesota, Ann was the cherished daughter of Arnold and Emily Heuer. Her life's journey was marked by her unwavering faith, genuine kindness, and a sincere dedication to enriching the lives of those around her. Ann's life was a testament to love and devotion. She married the love of her life, Pastor Sergei S. Koberg, on June 16, 1961, and together they shared 52 beautiful years until Sergei's passing. As a loyal pastor's wife, Ann's commitment to her faith and her community was evident through her active involvement at St. Philip Lutheran Church. She was a treasured member of the St. Philip Choir and participated in numerous church groups, including the Mary Martha group, where her warmth and positivity touched many hearts. For over 40 years, Ann dedicated herself to teaching 1st Grade Sunday School, nurturing the spiritual growth of countless young minds. Her gentle nature and radiant smile made her a beloved figure in the lives of her students, who fondly remember her as a guiding light in their early years. Ann's love for her family was boundless. She is survived by her devoted children, Debbie (Craig) Meier, Tim Koberg, and Kevin Koberg, as well as her treasured granddaughter, Brooke Meier. Ann's family was her pride and joy, and she found immense happiness in spending time with them, creating cherished memories that will forever live in their hearts. In addition to her family and church community, Ann found joy in her hobbies and interests. She was an avid collector of various collectibles, including Nutcrackers, Beanie Babies, and Precious Moments. Her enthusiasm for collecting led her to work at the Nutcracker Sweete in Danville for many years, where she shared her passion with others. Ann's legacy is one of compassion, kindness, and unwavering faith. She was predeceased by her loving parents, Arnold and Emily Heuer, and her devoted husband, Pastor Sergei S. Koberg. Her family takes comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with them in eternal peace. A memorial service to celebrate Ann's life will be held on August 1, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Philip Lutheran Church, located at 8850 Davona Drive, Dublin, CA 94586. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Ann's memory to St. Philip Lutheran Church, honoring her lifelong dedication to her faith and community. Ann C. Koberg will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her spirit will continue to inspire those she leaves behind. Her life was a blessing, and her memory will forever be a treasure.
