In Loving Memory

Ann C B Dillman
May 22, 1944 — May 27, 2026
It is with heavy hearts yet profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the peaceful passing of Ann C B Dillman on May 27, 2026, at the age of 82, surrounded by her loving family. Ann was born on May 22, 1944, in the charming town of West Chester, where she would grow to leave an indelible mark on everyone she met.
Ann was the cherished daughter of the late Paul J and Ann Brown. She was a devoted mother to her son, Leslie Ross Dillman, and a beloved mother-in-law to Tina McBride-Dillman. Her family was her pride and joy, and she poured her heart into every moment spent with her grandson, Nicholas Ross Dillman, and was thrilled to welcome Sarah Louth into the family as Nicholas's future bride.
A proud graduate of West Chester High School in 1962, Ann would go on to dedicate over 40 years to the banking industry, where her professionalism and integrity earned her the respect and admiration of colleagues and clients alike. Her commitment to her career was matched only by her dedication to her community and faith.
As a devoted member of St Agnes Parish in West Chester, Ann served as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion from the 1990s, offering her service with humility and grace. Her faith was a guiding light throughout her life, and her actions reflected the kindness and compassion she held in her heart.
Ann's earlier years were marked by her love for dance, having been an active ballerina and harboring a lifelong passion for the school of dance. This love of movement extended to her family life, where she delighted in playing ball with her son and grandson. Her unwavering support was evident as she attended every sporting event of her son, grandson, and daughter-in-law, celebrating their achievements with enthusiasm and pride. Ann's joy knew no bounds when she witnessed all three playing on the same team, a memory she cherished dearly.
To know Ann was to experience her constant smile and her warm, loving presence. She was a pillar of support, always ready with a kind word or a comforting gesture. Her legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering support will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at Bryn Mawr Hospital and Broomall Manor for the exceptional care they provided Ann during her final days.
A service to honor and celebrate Ann's life will be held on June 18, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Ruffenach Funeral Home. While Ann did not wish for donations to be made in her memory, those who knew her are encouraged to honor her legacy by extending kindness and support to those around them, just as she did throughout her life.
Ann C B Dillman will forever be remembered for her loving spirit and the beautiful life she led. While she may no longer walk among us, her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her.
