Angelo M Daniels

October 19, 1949 — October 22, 2026

Angelo M. Daniels, a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, peacefully gained his wings on October 22, 2026, at the Washington VA Medical Center. Born on October 19, 1949, in Mobile, Alabama, Angelo was the cherished son of the late Willis and Julia Daniels. Growing up in a large family, he was the youngest of five siblings, and he carried the love and lessons of his family throughout his life. He is predeceased by his brothers Willis, Kheninh, and Samuel, his sister Connie, and his dear wife, Carleen Daniels. Angelo was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving bravely during the Vietnam War. Following his honorable discharge, he devoted himself to a career as a contractor and courier for various organizations. His dedication to his work was matched only by his commitment to his family and his faith. A long-standing member of Encounter Life Church, formerly the Washington Christian Center, Angelo's faith was a cornerstone of his life. He was a man who loved the Lord deeply and encouraged his family to walk in the same path of faith and devotion. His willingness to share the word, along with his non-judgmental and forgiving nature, left a lasting impression on all who knew him. Family was of utmost importance to Angelo. He cherished moments spent with his children, Angela, Angelo, and Michael, and delighted in the company of his seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Whether enjoying a meal together at an all-you-can-eat restaurant or watching movies, these times were precious to him. Angelo's kindness and generosity extended beyond his family. He was a friend and confidante to many, always ready to lend a helping hand and share his wisdom. Though he did not claim to be a saint, his actions spoke louder than words, and his impact on those around him was profound. A celebration of Angelo's life will be held on November 13, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Encounter Life Church, located at 2200 Culbera Dr., Hillcrest Heights, MD 20748. The family welcomes all who knew and loved Angelo to join in honoring his memory. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to a charity of your choice, reflecting the spirit of giving that Angelo embodied throughout his life. The Daniels family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated staff at the VA living facility, including doctors, nurses, dietary staff, and CNAs, for their exceptional care and compassion shown to Angelo. Angelo M. Daniels will be remembered for his unwavering faith, his love for family, and his generous spirit. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know him.
