Angeleen Sketter Deloatch, a beloved soul who graced this world on April 17, 1937, in Northampton County, has gently departed from us on March 24, 2026. Born to Olivia Sketter and Lloyd Lassiter, Angeleen carried the values of kindness and dedication throughout her life, touching the hearts of all who knew her. Angeleen was the cherished wife of the late Robert L. Deloatch, whom she married in 1976. Their union was a testament to love and companionship, lasting 36 beautiful years until Robert's passing on April 15, 2012. Together, they built a life filled with shared dreams and unwavering support. Angeleen was also proceeded in death by Joyner and Mary Flythe whom raised her; Alongside her Flythe siblings. Angeleen dedicated many years of her life to the medical field in Virginia, where her compassionate nature and tireless work ethic made a significant impact on countless lives. She also contributed her skills to several manufacturing careers in North Carolina, demonstrating her versatility and commitment to excellence. Her faith was an integral part of her life, guiding her actions and providing strength. Angeleen was an active member of St. John AME Church in Conway, NC, where she found a community of fellowship and spiritual support. Even as her health declined, her connection to the church remained a source of comfort and peace. Due to Angeleen health condition, she was taken in by Mr. Ricky and Elise Cumbo. Whom she resided with for 8 years they ensure she attended health appointments and appointments with Forensic Dialysis of Northampton County. After her strength became unbearable Angeleen went to Rich Square Health and Rehabilitation Center - Rich Square NC. A devoted mother, Angeleen is survived by her beloved child, Weasteria Whyce, who resides in Florida. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered their support during this difficult time.
