Her life was a testament to love, resilience, and unwavering dedication to her family and community.
Angela spent her formative years in Columbus, where she attended Spencer High School, graduating in 1974. Known for her warm smile and generous spirit, she was a beacon of light to all who knew her. Angela’s life was rich with family, laughter, and the simple joys that come from a life well-lived.
A devoted mother, Angela is survived by her two children, Datril McGhee and James Walker, who were the pride and joy of her life. Her nurturing spirit was further extended to her two beloved granddaughters, who were frequently found by her side, learning from her wisdom and sharing in her warmth. Angela also leaves behind a great-grandson, whose presence brought her immense joy and fulfillment in her later years.
Angela's legacy is further carried by her numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends who became like family. She was predeceased by her loving parents, Willie Clyde and Angela Jackson Walker, to whom she remained devoted throughout her life.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Angela’s life and legacy at a service to be held on August 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Tabors Church, located at 2 Shepard Court. It will be a time to remember Angela’s life, her unwavering love, and the many ways she touched the hearts of those around her.
