Angela Pearl Ellis Dickson

Angela Pearl Ellis Dickson, cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2026, surrounded by her daughters and grandchildren. Angela was born on March 7, 1955, in Baltimore, Maryland, to Joseph and Gloria Cooke.
On April 8, 1973, Angela married her beloved husband, David H. Dickson. Together, they built a life centered around family, and love. Although David preceded her in death, along with their son, David H. Dickson Jr., Angela's love for them remained a constant source of strength and inspiration.
Angela's greatest joy in life was her family. She is survived by her devoted daughters, Sodonia Dickson and April Copeland, both of Peterstown. Her legacy continues through her five grandchildren: Karista (Shawn) Bryant of Rupert, Cheyenne (Dakota)Yates of Peterstown, Marcus Spinks and companion Grim of Glenville,Remington Mace and companion Josephine Ackleson of Peterstown, and Angel Lockhart, also of Peterstown. Her heart was further filled with love by her eight great-grandchildren: Abriella, Easton, and Elsie of Rupert; Lana, Isabella, Emma, Zoey, and Keaton all of Peterstown and Braylynn, Emmie and Addie of White Sulphur Springs and very close friend, Angel Daugherty of Parrot, VA.
Angela is also survived by her siblings, Deborah and the late Joesph Kirby, Maureen (Jimmy) Lucas of Organ Cave, Sharon (Johnny) Brown of Fairlea, Brady (Rhonda) Ellis of Moncove Lake, Mathew(Jennifer)Ellis of Pennsylvania, and Joseph Cooke of Maryland.
A dedicated homemaker, Angela found immense joy in the time spent with her grandchildren. Her home was a sanctuary of warmth, laughter, and the aroma of home-cooked meals, where every family member knew they were cherished.
Angela's memory will forever be a guiding light for her family, reminding them of the power of love and the importance of togetherness. Her passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew her, but her spirit will continue to live on through the beautiful family she nurtured.
