June 6, 1967 — September 8, 2026

Angela Glenn, a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and partner, passed away on September 8, 2026. Born on June 6, 1967, in Highland Park, Michigan, Angela was the heart and soul of her family, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth that will be cherished forever. The daughter of Al and the late Barbara Glenn, Angela was a devoted family member who prioritized her loved ones above all else. She is survived by her father, Al Glenn, and his wife, Cherie. Her life was further enriched by her siblings, Audrey Glenn, Brittney Lipsey, and Joesph McClellan, as well as her adopted siblings, Stephanie Terry and DeWayne King, along with his wife, Lisa. Angela's life was beautifully intertwined with her partner of over 30 years, Craig Ash, who stood by her side through life's many experiences. Together, they created a family filled with love and joy. Angela was a proud mother to her son, Elondo Armstead, and an adoring grandmother to her cherished grandchildren, Elondo Jr, Imani, Braylon, Raegan, and Cassius. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she took every opportunity to share stories and updates about them with friends and family. Angela's educational journey took her from Cooley High School to Lewis College of Business, where she earned an Associate's Degree, and later to Cosmetology School. Her career began at Morris Hardware, where she worked diligently for many years before transitioning to a rewarding position at Chrysler Motors. Angela was not only a dedicated professional but also an active member of her community. She was deeply involved with Power of Faith Ministries, where she found joy in participating in a variety of activities. Her passion for dance, baking cakes, playing cards, and Bingo brought her immense joy, but her greatest happiness came from the time she spent with her grandchildren. Known for her incredible cakes and warm smile, Angela had a kindness and bubbly personality that touched the hearts of many. She was a beacon of joy and compassion, sharing her love freely with all who were fortunate enough to know her. Family, friends, and community members are invited to celebrate Angela's life at a service on September 26, 2026, at Greater Works, located at 17172 Wyoming Ave, Detroit, MI 48221.
