In Loving Memory

Angela (Angie) Pommerville (Jackson)
August 26, 1971 — May 19, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Angela "Angie" Pommerville (née Jackson), a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Angie departed this world on May 19, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth that touched all who knew her. Born on August 26, 1971, in Taft, California, Angie graced this world with her radiant spirit and kind heart, enriching the lives of everyone she encountered.
Angie was the cherished daughter of Mike and Ruby Jackson and grew up surrounded by the love of her family in Taft. She was predeceased by her dear friend David Gonzalez and her beloved grandparents, Grandma and Grandpa Jackson. Though their loss left a void in her heart, Angie carried their memories with grace and love throughout her life.
Angie's journey was illuminated by the love she shared with her devoted husband, Richard Pommerville. Their partnership, spanning over 30 remarkable years, was a testament to their unwavering commitment and deep affection for one another. Together, they built a beautiful family, raising three wonderful children: Austin Reeves, Nicholas Pommerville, and Erica Pommerville. Angie's love extended even further to her five treasured grandchildren, who brought immense joy and laughter into her life.
Her siblings, Mikey and Shawna Jackson, along with a host of in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, mourn the loss of a sister who could always brighten a room with her infectious smile and warm embrace. Angie had a unique ability to turn any frown upside down, gifting those around her with laughter and solace in times of need.
For over two decades, Angie dedicated herself to her career at McDonald's in Taft, where she formed lasting connections with colleagues and customers alike. Her kind-hearted soul was evident in every interaction, and her presence was a comforting constant to all who walked through those doors.
Angie's passion for life extended beyond work; she found joy in the simple pleasures, such as playing darts, an activity she enjoyed with great enthusiasm and camaraderie. Her hobbies were a reflection of her vibrant spirit and her love for the people she held dear.
A celebration of Angie's life will be held on June 20, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, located at 220 North St. The family invites all who loved Angie to join them in honoring her memory and sharing the warmth of her spirit.
In this time of sorrow, the Pommerville and Jackson families extend their heartfelt gratitude to the community for the overwhelming love and support they've received. Your kindness has provided comfort and strength during this difficult time.
Angie's legacy of love, kindness, and joy will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed, yet fondly remembered, as a beacon of love and light.
