It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Angel Jose Vedia, who entered into eternal rest on February 28, 2026, at the young age of 28. Born on August 8, 1997, in Laredo, Texas, Angel's life, though brief, was a testament to love, resilience, and the enduring power of family.
Angel was a cherished son to Maria Del Rocio and Jose Maria Vedia Garza, who provided him with a foundation of love and values that he carried throughout his life. Raised in the warm embrace of a large and devoted family, Angel shared deep bonds with his siblings: Stephanie Lee Garza, Saul Chavez III, Ulyses Vedia, Julissa Vedia, Joselyn Vedia, Jasmine Vedia, and Joel Vedia. Each sibling held a unique place in Angel's heart, contributing to the vibrant family tapestry that defined his world.
Angel's legacy lives on through his beloved children, Efrain Garza Jr. and Madison Garza, who were his pride and joy. His love for them was boundless, and his spirit will continue to guide them as they grow. Angel's unwavering dedication to his family was evident in every aspect of his life, and his memory will forever be a source of inspiration and strength.
Angel's journey on earth was one marked by kindness, generosity, and an unyielding optimism that touched everyone he encountered. His warm smile and gentle demeanor endeared him to friends and strangers alike, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those fortunate enough to know him.
A visitation to honor Angel's life will be held on March 6, 2026, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services, located at 1320 Trey Dr., Laredo, Texas 78041. During this time, a rosary will be recited at 1:30 pm, offering a moment of reflection and prayer in celebration of Angel's life. Cremation services will be held at a later date.
