Minister Andrew Jackson Halsey transitioned peacefully on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at the age of 82.
Andrew was born on April 18, 1944, to the late Spencer and Lizzie Mae Halsey. He was the 6th child of their 9 children. Besides his parents, his siblings Spencer Halsey, Jr, Linwood Halsey, Sr., Melissa Sampson, Hilda Hazelwood, and Patricia Harrell preceded him in death.
He leaves behind three brothers: William Arthur Halsey (Margaret), William Edward Halsey and Kenneth Wayne Halsey (Anna); and a host of family and friends.
