It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Andrew Richardson, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Andrew passed away peacefully on October 2, 2026, surrounded by the love and comfort of his family. Born on August 13, 1950, Andrew lived a life marked by dedication to his family, his work, and his community.
A beloved husband to Sheila Richardson, Andrew was a pillar of strength and support. Their marriage was one of mutual respect and deep affection, serving as a testament to their enduring love. Together, they built a beautiful family, raising four children who carry forward Andrew's legacy with grace and integrity: Holly Buford, Andy Richardson Jr., Joey Schroeder, and Jenny Shockley.
Andrew's pride and joy were his nine grandchildren, Brendan, Ashley, Avery Shockley, Brynn, June, Charlee Buford, Ava Richardson, Allison, and Madison Schroeder. He cherished every moment spent cheering them on in their various pursuits, especially in sports—a passion he shared with them all. Whether it was watching the Astros or attending his grandchildren's games, Andrew's enthusiasm was infectious and his support unwavering.
Throughout his career, Andrew dedicated 25 years to Brookstone Construction, where he was respected not only for his work ethic but for his leadership and the kindness he showed to colleagues. His commitment to quality and integrity left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of working with him.
Andrew was also a cherished member of Faithbridge Church, where he found spiritual fulfillment and a community of dear friends. His faith guided him throughout his life, providing strength and comfort in times of need.
He is survived by his siblings, Fred and George Richardson, who remember him as a loving brother and confidant. Andrew's warmth, humor, and generosity touched everyone he met, and his absence leaves a void that will be deeply felt by all who knew him.
In honor of Andrew's life and legacy, the family suggests that donations be made to Faithbridge Church, an institution that held a special place in his heart.
Andrew Richardson's life was a testament to the power of love, dedication, and community. As we say goodbye, we hold onto the memories and the love he shared with us all. He will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
In lieu of flowers, the family of Andrew Watson Richardson welcomes donations to a charity, nonprofit, church, or organization of your choosing.

A Life Well Lived
A life well lived is a precious gift
of hope and strength and grace,
from someone who has made our world
a brighter, better place.
It's filled with moments, sweet and sad,
with smiles and sometimes tears,
with friendships formed and good times shared
and laughter through the years.
A life well lived is a legacy
of joy and pride and pleasure,
a living, lasting memory
our grateful hearts will treasure.
