In Loving Memory of Andrew Austin Lebile It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Andrew "Andy" Austin Lebile. Born on February 18, 2010, in Wichita, Kansas, Andy left us far too soon on April 9, 2026, at the tender age of 16. Though his time with us was brief, the impact of his vibrant spirit and infectious laughter will echo in our hearts forever. Andy was a beacon of joy and a source of endless smiles. Quick with a joke, he had the remarkable ability to uplift those around him, bringing warmth and light to even the cloudiest of days. His love for life was evident in everything he did, from his fervent passion for football to his exceptional talent in mathematics. Andy dreamed of donning a police uniform one day, driven by a heart full of service and a desire to protect and help others. As a sophomore in high school, Andy took immense pride in his education. His eagerness to learn and excel was evident not only in his academic pursuits but also in his extracurricular activities. Andy was a cherished member of the debate team, where his quick wit and humor shone brightly. An avid athlete, he enjoyed playing football, basketball, and participating in track, always displaying a competitive spirit and a love for the game. Andy was the cherished son of Jaymie L. Lebile and Jose C. Lebile, who adored him beyond measure. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Michael L. Peters, and his great-grandparents, Jill and Robert Peters. The family finds solace in the belief that Andy is now reunited with them, embraced by their love and warmth. In this time of sorrow, we are reminded of the words from the scriptures: “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” — Matthew 5:4 and “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18. These passages offer us comfort and strength as we navigate the depths of our grief. The family has chosen to hold a private ceremony to honor Andy's memory, cherishing the precious moments they shared with him in the company of close family and friends. As we say our goodbyes, we hold tightly to the memories of Andy's laughter, his humor, and the joy he brought into every life he touched. We are eternally grateful for the outpouring of love and support from all who knew him during this difficult time. Rest in peace, dear Andy. Your laughter and love will never leave us, and you will forever be in our hearts.
