It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Andres Lopez, a cherished husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend. Andres departed this world on May 17, 2026, at the age of 80, surrounded by the love and warmth of his devoted wife, son, and sister. Born on December 12, 1945, in the vibrant town of Autlan, Jalisco, Mexico, Andres was the son of the late Victoria and Alejandro Lopez. He was shaped by the rich culture and traditions of his birthplace, which he carried with him throughout his life. His journey through life was marked by a deep love for his family, a passion for community, and an unwavering joy for the simple pleasures of life. Andres was predeceased by his beloved parents, Victoria and Alejandro, and his siblings, Diana Lopez, Sophia Lopez, and Cesar Angel Lopez, as well as his dear relatives, Marianita Pauline Edralin and Alejandro Lopez. He is survived by his loving wife, Selia Mendez, his devoted son, Micheal Mendez, and his cherished daughter, Connie Lopez. He also leaves behind his siblings, Maria Edralin, Teresa Brewer, Esteban Lopez, Lupe Lopez, Alejandro Lopez, Angel Lopez, and Victor Lopez. His legacy lives on in his five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, who were the light of his life. Additionally, he is fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews who were touched by his kindness and warmth. Andres was a man who found happiness in the company of his family and friends. He had an infectious smile and a heart full of joy. Whether it was playing cards, enjoying a lively game of bingo, or cheering on his son at soccer matches, Andres found delight in life's simple moments. His greatest joy was gathering with his loved ones, creating memories filled with laughter and love. A service to celebrate Andres's life will be held on June 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Neumann Church, located at 906 W. Orchard Street. Family and friends are invited to join in honoring a life well-lived and to share in the stories and memories that made Andres so special to all who knew him. Andres Lopez was a beacon of love and happiness, a man whose presence brought warmth and joy to those around him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. His spirit will live on in the stories shared and the love that continues to bind his family together. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love he so richly deserved.
