Andrea Jackson Carpenter

July 11, 1962 — October 27, 2026

Andrea Jackson Carpenter, a cherished soul whose warmth and humor touched many lives, passed away on October 27, 2026. Born on July 11, 1962, at Point Pleasant Hospital in Point Pleasant, NJ, Andrea was the beloved daughter of Al and Emma Jackson, who preceded her in death. She is also reunited with her dear husband, Charles Carpenter, and her niece, Marlana Lees. Andrea's journey began in Brick, NJ, where she graduated from Brick High School in 1980. She furthered her education in business school, carving out a fulfilling career as a legal secretary, with her talents gracing offices in Brick, NJ, and Williamsport, PA. Her professional life was marked by dedication, but it was her personal life where Andrea truly shone. Andrea's heart was as vast as her laughter was infectious. Though she and Charles did not have children of their own, Andrea's love overflowed to her nieces and nephews, who adored her as the "cool" aunt. Her quick wit and kind spirit made her a beloved figure in their lives, and her joyous nature left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life. A devoted member of Community Baptist Church during her years in Montoursville, PA, Andrea immersed herself in Bible Study Fellowship for seven years and was actively involved in Susquehanna Valley Tres Dias. Her commitment to her faith extended to volunteering at Divine Providence Hospital in Williamsport, PA, where she offered prayers and communion to patients, embodying the compassion and warmth she was known for. Andrea found joy in the simple pleasures of life, often demonstrated by her willingness to embrace new experiences with her beloved Charlie. Whether milking cows, fishing from a boat, or driving a tractor, her love for her husband was evident in her willingness to step beyond her comfort zone, creating beautiful memories along the way. She leaves behind her cherished siblings: sister Michele Lees and her husband Albie, brother Paul Jackson, sister Marian Griffith and her husband Paul, brother Mark Jackson and his wife Linda, sister Emma Jackson, and brother Alfred Jackson and his wife Jennifer. Each holds dear the memories of Andrea's love, laughter, and unwavering kindness. Andrea chose not to have a formal service, preferring a quiet remembrance of her life. In honoring her memory, she wished for donations to be made in support of cancer research, a cause close to her heart, as it claimed both her father and her beloved Charlie. She also encouraged prayers for the sick, reflecting her lifelong dedication to caring for others. Andrea Jackson Carpenter spent the last years of her life in a quiet, friendly North Carolina town of Harrisburg NC just outside of Charlotte. Her legacy is one of love and laughter, and her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched. She will be profoundly missed, but her essence lives on in the cherished memories of her family and friends.
