July 16, 1946 — October 3, 2026

In loving memory of Anastacio Ortega, who graced this world on July 16, 1946, in the picturesque town of San Miguel De Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico. Anastacio passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by loved ones, on October 3, 2026. He was a beacon of strength and compassion, whose life was a testament to the enduring power of love and perseverance. Born to Maria Luz Rico De Ortega and Joaquin De la Cruz Ortega, Anastacio was deeply rooted in the family values and traditions passed down to him. His life was also touched by the memory of his predeceased brother, Miguel Rico Ortega, whom he cherished dearly. Anastacio dedicated his life to the land he loved, a legacy left to him by his father. His hands were never idle, always tending to the earth with care and reverence. It was through this labor of love that he taught his children the virtues of hard work and the beauty of nature's bounty. He is survived by his beloved children: Francisco, Nacho, Trinidad, Joaquin, Felix, Daniel, Juana, Josefina, and Teresa. His legacy continues through his 28 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, who brought boundless joy and laughter into his life. A service celebrating Anastacio's life will be held on October 10, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Santa Virgen De los Lagos. The family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a charity of the donor's choice, in honor of Anastacio's generous spirit. The family wishes to share a heartfelt message inspired by Ephesians 3:20: "Te Dare mas de lo que pediste, Se paciente y confia en mi." May Anastacio rest in eternal peace, embraced by the love he so freely gave to all who knew him. Q.E.P.D.
